Teacher plan
FoldNets for your classroom
Everything FoldNets does today stays free, with no sign-up. The teacher plan adds what a classroom needs that a single browser can't: your designs everywhere, a code that puts a design in front of 30 students, and lessons with worksheets that check themselves.
Your designs on every computer
Save to your account and every change saves itself a moment later, so the castle you started on the classroom laptop is waiting at home. Folders per class or unit, with a picture of each model.
One code instead of 30 share links
Make a class, add designs or lessons, and put the code on the board. Students type it at foldnets.com/join and open their own copy, with no accounts. Choose what each assignment lets them change, like hiding edge lengths so they measure with a ruler.
Lessons that start from a real model
5 lessons checked and ready now (13 more coming soon), from kindergarten to grade 8, tagged with Ontario curriculum strands and Common Core standards: faces and edges, cube nets, surface area, volume, Euler's formula, scale, and build projects. Or make your own from anything you design.
Worksheets with answer keys
Questions worked out from the exact shape you picked: counting faces, Euler's formula, which net folds, surface area from the net, volume and scale. Versions A and B use different measurements, and the key shows the working.
How a class works
A code on the board, and they're building
- 1
Make a class
Give it a name, like 6B Math. It gets a code for students.
- 2
Add an assignment
A ready lesson or one of your designs. Choose what students do: Build it, Explore or Design your own.
- 3
Put the code on the board
Students go to foldnets.com/join and type it. They see only that class's assignments.
Sample lessons
Every plan opens a real model
The plans are free to read and use. Open any lesson's model in the maker to print its nets; worksheets and assigning to a class come with the plan.

Questions
- Do students need accounts?
- No. Students never sign up, sign in or give an email, and joining needs no name. A class code only opens what you assigned to that class, and you can reset it any time. When students hand in their work, they type their first name so you know whose it is.
- What stays free?
- Everything FoldNets does today: every shape, Build and Free-form tool, decorations, PDF export at fit-page or real size, class sets with names, saving in the browser and share links.
- Where is the data kept?
- In Canada (Supabase, Canada Central region). FoldNets stores your email, your designs and your class names. The one thing it keeps about a student is the first name they type when they hand in, and that goes after 60 days. See the privacy page.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, any time, under Account and billing in your dashboard. The plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Your designs stay in your account and you can still open them; saving, class codes and worksheets pause.
